Tom, Tom, The Piper's Son

Most parents and grandparents remember Tom The Piper's son from their own childhood. But now it is time to sing about Tom for a new generation. Because this nursery rhyme has been sung since 1795 (!) – so don't let it die out!

The lyrics says that Tom stole a pig, and then ate it. Explain to your kids that this was not a real pig (not an animal), but probably a kind of cake (apple stuffed pastry) that was called "pig".

So, are you ready to sing?
