The traditional american nursery rhyme Yankee Doodle was first time published in the 1780s, some years after the Seven Year's War. It is still used all over the USA. It is actually the the state anthem of Connecticut (did you know?)
But when you are singing the rhyme Yankee Doodle, you don't need to think of the Seven Year's War at all (unless you want to). Because this song is cosy with no story added, and the kids really like it. So what are you waiting for? Let's sing! :)
